Under its global rebranding exercise, Kia Motor had revealed its new corporate logo and slogan (“Movement that inspires”) earlier this year. The new emblem is said to symbolize the brand’s commitment to customers for change and innovation. In India, Kia’s new logo will debut on the upcoming Kia Seltos Gravity Edition that’s slated to launch on 27th April 2021.
Ahead of its arrival, the carmaker released a teaser of its upcoming ad campaign. The film previews a car’s hood featuring the brand’s new emblem. Kia hasn’t yet revealed the details of the upcoming Kia Seltos Gravity Edition and ad campaign.
For people not in the know, the special edition was introduced in the South Korean market in July 2020. The Seltos Gravity is likely to be based on the range-topping variant featuring cosmetic enhancement over the regular model. Similar to the Korea-spec model, the SUV’s special edition is likely to feature a newly-designed chromed front grille with 3-dimensional design. The new set of 18-inch alloy wheels, silver finish on the ORVMs and door garnish and an updated rear skid plate will add more to its sportier looks. One of its major highlights will be the Kia’s new brand logo embossed on its hood. Minor changes will also be made to its interior. The 2021 Kia Seltos Gravity will have grey interior theme and is likely to come with a panoramic sunroof.
Features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity and UVO connected car tech, a premium Bose sound system, digital instrument console, a wireless phone charger, automatic AC, remote engine start, high-beam assist functions and lane keep assist will continue to be on offer.
No changes are likely to be made to its engine setup. The 2021 Kia Seltos Gravity Edition might come with the 1.5L petrol, 1.4L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motor options. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
