Official bookings of the upcoming Kia Carens 6/7-seater SUV have been commenced across the nation. Customers can pre-book the vehicle via Kia India’s official website or at any authorized Kia dealership by paying a sum of Rs 25,000. The automaker has revealed that the Carens will come in five trims, namely, Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus.
The SUV model lineup comes with two petrol – 1.5L naturally-aspirated 1.5L (115bhp/144Nm) and 1.4L turbo (140bhp/242Nm) and one diesel engine – 1.5L (115bhp/250Nm). There will be multiple gearboxes on offer including a 6-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed torque convertor automatic (for diesel variants only) and a 7-speed DCT automatic (for turbo petrol only). The same powertrain options are offered on the Kia Seltos SUV.
