Kawasaki India has introduced an exclusive new paint scheme – Pure Metallic Spark Black – on its Z900 naked motorcycle. Besides the new shade, the bike also receives new body graphics. The new Kawasaki Z900 Pure Metallic Spark Black will be limited in numbers. Only 30 units of the motorcycle will be sold across the nation.
Interested buyers can book the bike at any authorized Kawasaki dealership. The company will dispatch the exclusive Pure Metallic Spark Black unit to dealerships only on an order. The bike will also continue to be available in the existing colour schemes.
Commenting on the Kawasaki Z900 Pure Metallic Spark Black launch, Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors, said, “Our Z900 received a very positive response. I hope that with this new addition, passionate customers those who waited for this colour will be happy. Responding to the requirements of our customers is one of our most important priorities.” “We, being a premium brand, always strive to maintain a certain class in our products through its appearance and technology.” further states Yutaka Yamashita.
No mechanical changes have been made to the bike. The Kawasaki Z900 Pure Metallic Spark Black uses the same 948cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke In-Line engine boosted with fuel injection system. This motor generates a peak power of 125PS and 98.6Nm. The bike sits on trellis, high-tensile steel frame and runs on 120/70ZR17M/C front and 180/55ZR17M/C rear tyres.
Similar to the regular shade units, the Kawasaki Z900 Pure Metallic Spark Black features 41mm inverted fork and horizontal Back-link with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability suspension unit at the front and rear axle respectively. Braking is done by front and rear disc brakes. It also comes with Nissin ABS (Anti-lock braking system).
