Kawasaki, the Japanese two-wheeler maker has launched the all-new Ninja H2 superbike in the Indian two-wheeler market. The performance-oriented Ninja H2 has been launched at an event in Buddh International Circuit, and is priced at Rs. 29 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). Bookings for the bike were already started by Kawasaki dealers at a token amount of Rs. 10 lakh.
The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is powered by a liquid-cooled 998cc inline four-cylinder supercharged engine that produces 200PS of power at 11,000rpm (210PS with Ram Air) and 133.5Nm of torque at 10,500rpm. This engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Based on a Trellis, high-tensile steel frame, the Ninja H2 gets a Swingarm Mounting Plate. Dimensionally, the H2 is 2,085mm long, 770mm wide and 1455mm tall, and it comes with a wheelbase of 1455mm. It has a ground clearance of 130mm, while the fuel tank has 17-litres of capacity.
Only 5 Kawasaki Ninja H2 has been allocated for Indian market this year, which will be sold through the company’s five dealerships. Launched as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) Unit, the Ninja H2 features launch control, traction control, engine brake control, anti-wheelie, etc.
