Kawasaki Eliminator 400 Cruiser Debuts In Japan- India-Bound?

Kawasaki has officially revived the Eliminator nameplate in the home market. The 2023 Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser motorcycle is available in two trims – Standard and SE. The retro-styled cruiser bike rivals the Honda Rebel 350. 

The latest iteration of the Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser motorcycle retains the retro styling. It comes with a round-shaped LED headlight, a bulky round fuel tank, a split seat setup and a partially exposed frame. The motorcycle comes with a cruiser stance.

The motorcycle has no chrome, which is a big departure from the previous Eliminators. All the bodywork and cycle parts are finished in black. The new Eliminator comes with front and rear cameras, which work as dash-cams. It also has a small biking fairing. 

The new Kawasaki Eliminator is powered by a 398cc parallel-twin engine that produces 47bhp of power and 37Nm of torque. The powertrain is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The latest generation of the Eliminator cruiser comes fitted with a fully digital instrument console. The console has a speedometer, odometer, trip meter and other key information.

The motorcycle comes fitted with telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The electric motorcycle gets 310mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear along with dual-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).

It rides on 18-inch front and 16-inch rear alloy. The motorcycle weighs 176kg and has a fuel tank of 12-litres. It has a seat height of 735mm, which suits most of the riders.

The new Kawasaki Eliminator cruiser has been launched in the Japanese market at JPY 7,59,000 (approximately Rs 4.71 lakh). The top-spec SE variant is tagged at JPY 8,58,000 (approx Rs 5.33 lakh). It is expected that the new motorcycle could be launched in our market in near future.
