TVS Motor Company has announced that its popular Jupiter scooter has achieved yet another milestone in India. The automatic scooter crossed 2.5 million units sales mark in the domestic market. To commemorate the occasion, the two-wheeler maker also announced a new marketing campaign for the Jupiter. Promoted with slogan “Taaro Se Bhi Kahin Upar”, the campaign highlights the scooter’s accomplishment of achieving the top rating in the J.D. Power Automotive Award.
The television commercial of the campaign features the Star of the Millennium – Amitabh Bachchan. It also includes digital film and print. Launched in 2013, the TVS Jupiter is the fastest scooter to achieve 1 million sales, doing it in just 30 months. In September 2017, the scooter crossed 2 million sales milestone in the domestic market.

TVS Jupiter comes in two variants – Base and ZX (Disc and Drum). The Sync Braking System (SBS) is standard across the model lineup. The scooter comes in a choice of eight colour schemes – Matte Blue, Stallion Brown, Royal Wine, Midnight Black, Volcano Red, Titanium Grey, Pristine White and Mystic Gold. It uses a 109cc, single-cylinder engine that’s good for 7.8bhp and 8Nm. Currently, the TVS Jupiter is available at Rs 57.515 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
