Jeep Compass Trailhawk Bookings Start At Dealership Level
Jeep Compass Trailhawk is reported to hit showrooms in the first week of July, 2019.
Jeep Compass Trailhawk, the off-road version of the Compass SUV, is ready for its India launch. While the official launch date and booking details are yet to be announced by the carmaker, a media report says that it might hit showrooms in the first week of July, 2019. Certain Jeep dealers have already started taking pre-orders for the vehicle and deliveries are being promised for mid July.
What makes the Compass Trailhawk different from the regular model are its higher (20mm) ground clearance, Jeep’s Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with a new ‘Rock Mode’ and Jeep’s Active Drive Low-range 4WD. Aiming to enhance its rugged appeal, the American carmaker has improved approach and departure angle of the bumpers along with adding larger air-dam, a glare-patch on the hood and skid plates. The SUV also features blackened roof, mirrors and pillars. While the side fenders have blacked out Jeep badges in red accents, the boot lid has a large ‘Trailhawk’ moniker. Sporty bits continue inside the cabin. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk features Red and Black interior theme with leather wrapped steering wheel, panels with red highlights and gear lever. The seats have red accents upholstery and ‘Trailhawk’ badging. For connectivity purpose, the SUV offers a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.
