Jeep Compass Trailhawk Bookings Officially Start

FCA India has officially started taking pre-bookings for the Jeep Compass Trailhawk. Interested buyers can book the Trailhawk at a token amount of Rs 50,000, which is completely refundable on cancellation. The SUV can be booked at 82 FCA all-brand showrooms across 70 Indian towns and cities. The Compass Trailhawk is the first made-in-India Jeep to have the Trail Rated badge, which is a global benchmark given to Jeep 4×4 SUVs developed for superior off-roading capabilities compared to regular 4×4 Jeep models.
Compared to the regular model, the Compass Trailhawk gets 20mm higher ground clearance, Jeep’s Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with a new ‘Rock Mode’ and ‘Jeep’s Active Drive Low-range 4WD. This mode also gets a ZF 9-sourced automatic gearbox along with the same 2.0L MultiJet II diesel engine. There is an anti-glare decal on the bonnet that ensures sun does not hamper the driver’s visibility. It gets all-new design for better aerodynamics, while the air-dam has been revised for better air-intake.

Commenting on the commencement of the Trailhawk bookings, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “The Trailhawk is a product which is developed for customers looking for a hugely capable and exclusive SUV in the compact category. Powering the Jeep Compass Trailhawk is a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine. This engine is capable of producing 170bhp of power and 350Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the all 4 wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk comes with Red and Black interior scheme. It comes equipped with leather wrapped steering wheel, panels with red highlights and gear lever. It gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
