FCA India has announced a price hike for its top selling compact SUV – Compass. The new prices will get into effect from January 1, 2018. The Jeep Compass will see a price increase from 2 to 4% that will vary variant-wise. Interestingly, the price of the Compass Sport petrol model will remain unchanged. Currently, this variant comes with a price tag of Rs 15.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Besides this, the Jeep Compass has crossed the 10,000 sales milestone in the Indian market. The SUV has achieved this sales mark within a short duration of four months. The company received over 10,000 bookings for the Compass in the very first month of its arrival. Attributes that have worked in its favour are its premium styling, well-packed interior and efficient engine setup and the most importantly its attractive pricing.
