Jeep Compass BS6 Diesel Automatic Variants Launched
Jeep India has further expanded its Compass SUV lineup with two new diesel-automatic variants – Longitude and Limited Plus. While the Jeep Compass Longitude automatic has been priced at Rs 21.96 lakh, the Limited Plus automatic costs Rs 24.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, India. The new Jeep Compass Longitude and Limited Plus diesel automatic variants come with the BS6-compliant 2.0L turbocharged oil burner paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It returns a claimed power of 173bhp and a peak torque of 350Nm. Both models are offered with AWD (all-wheel-drive) system.
The carmaker offers cruise control as standard feature in both new variants. The Jeep Compass Longitude diesel automatic gets a larger 7-inch UConnect screen with reverse camera and dynamic grid lines functionality. The Jeep Compass Limited Plus diesel automatic comes with a larger 8.4-inch UConnect infotainment screen along with the leather interiors, 8-way powered driver seat, dual-pane panoramic sun/moon roof, auto headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, rain sensitive wipers, 18-inch alloy wheels and 6 airbags.
