Classic Legends have started deliveries of the new Jawa Perak custom bobber in India. The company has delivered the first motorcycle in Hyderabad. Jawa dealerships are taking required precautions to ensure safety of the customers and the staff.
The Jawa Perak custom bobber was originally launched in November 2019. Bookings for the motorcycle commenced in January 2020. The manufacturing and delivery of motorcycle was delayed due to coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. The BS6 compliant Jawa Perak is now available at a price tag of Rs 1,94,500.
The Jawa motorcycle is now on display and for test rides at all Jawa dealerships across India. The company has also introduced multiple easy financing options for the Perak. The company has also released the revised technical specifications of the custom motorcycle. It is powered by a 343cc, single-cylinder DOHC engine that produces 30bhp and 32.4Nm of peak torque. Earlier, this engine was claimed to offer 31Nm of torque; however, the power output remains the same. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.
The custom Bobber is based on the double craddle chassis. The new Jawa Perak rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel wrapped with 100/90 and 140/70 section tyres respectively. The motorcycle weighs 179kg and has a fuel tank of 14-litres. It has 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc brake along with a dual-channel ABS system. The motorcycle’s suspension system comprises of conventional telescopic forks at the front and monoshock unit at the rear.
