Jawa Perak India Launch On 15th November, 2019
On 15th November 2018, the iconic two-wheeler brand – Jawa Motorcycles had made a comeback to India after 22 years. The bikemaker started its new inning with two new models – Jawa and Jawa Forty Two, priced at Rs 1.64 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh respectively. The company also unveiled the factory-custom bobber – Jawa Perak that costs Rs 1.89 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Now, Jawa Motorcycles is about to complete its first year in the country. In order to commemorate the occasion, the company will launch the Jawa Perak bobber motorcycle on November 15, 2019. Price of the new Jawa bike is likely to remain same.
Sporting retro-styling, the Jawa Perak will be made available in Matte Black colour scheme with Gold accents on the side panel and tank. Upfront, the bobber motorcycle features a round halogen headlamp. Its other key features include new swingarm, single tan leather seat and handlebar integrated rear mirrors. Unlike the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two that come with MRF tyres, the Jawa Perak runs on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels with 90/90 and 100/80 section Pirelli tyres. The bobber shares its platform with the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two, but it’s longer than the other two.
For power, the Jawa Perak uses the same 334cc, DOHC, 4 valve engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This liquid-cooled motor pushes out a peak power of 30bhp against 31Nm of torque. It gets front and rear disc brakes along with dual channel ABS. Suspension system comprises of inverted forks at the front and monoshock at the rear.
