Jawa & Jawa 42 Booking & Delivery Details Out!

Classic Legends, Mahindra & Mahindra’s subsidiary, has finally started taking pre-bookings for the Jawa and Jawa Forty Two motorcycles. Interested buyers can book the bikes online by paying a sum of Rs 5,000 (which is refundable). The company has also confirmed that the deliveries of the motorcycles will begin in January, 2018. Initially, Classic Legends aims to open 105 outlets across the nation.

The bookings for the factory-custom Jawa Perak bobber will be commenced at a later stage. While the Perak is the most expensive Jawa priced at Rs 1.89 lakh, the Jawa 42 is the affordable one priced at Rs 1.55 lakh. The Jawa 300 Classic is made available at Rs 1.62 lakh. New Jawa Bikes Pictures 

All three Jawa bikes make use of a 293cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that’s compliant to BSVI emission norms. The power and torque outputs stand at 27bhp and 28Nm respectively. While the Jawa Classic is available in three paint schemes – Black, Marron and Grey, the Jawa 42 comes in six shades – Comet Red, Nebula Blue, Galactic Green, Starlight Blue Lumos and Halley’ Teal. Both bikes sit on double cradle frame and share several design bits. In fact, the suspension setup (telescopic hydraulic fork upfront and twin shock hydraulic at reat) and braking system (280mm disc front and 153mm rear drum with the standard ABS) are the same.
