Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Gets A New Diesel Engine & Automatic Gearbox

Recently, Isuzu India introduced the D-Max V-Cross facelift with 20 new features, priced from Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated version of the pickup comes with the BS6-ready 134bhp, 2.5 diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Now, the Japanese carmaker has added a new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige variant to the pickup lineup.

The new variant gets a 1.9L diesel engine paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The new D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige has been priced at Rs 19.99 lakh, thus making it around Rs 3 lakh more expensive than the old 2.5L model. The new 1.9L oil burner delivers a peak power of 150bhp and 350Nm of torque.

Besides the new powertrain and gearbox, the new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Z-Prestige variant gets safety features such as six airbags and a brake override system as standard. The list of standard features also includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB input, DVD, Aux, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity, a USB charging port on the second row, roof mounted surround speakers, piano black accents around the cabin, dual-tone (Brown and Black) interior theme with perforated leather upholstery.

The exterior styling remains unchanged. The updated Isuzu D-Max V-Cross features a new grille, Bi-LED headlamps, revised front bumper with chrome accents, fog lamps with chrome bezel, roof rails, 18-inch diamond cut alloys, prominent wheel aches, blackened B-pillar and new LED taillamps.
