Ducati India’s Mumbai and Delhi dealers have started taking pre-orders for the much-awaited Scrambler motorcycle. The Scrambler Icon with red shade will first go on sale, which will be priced at Rs. 6.57 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). It is expected to be launched in the country by the end of May 2015.

The Ducati Scrambler will be offered in four versions including Icon, Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle. Under the hood is the air cooled 803cc, 90 degree L-Twin that churns out a maximum power output of 75bhp and 50 pound-feet of top torque at 5,750rpm. The Scrambler comes with a seat height of 790mm, which can be further reduces to 770mm, making it a perfect bike for world riders.

It is based on the tubular steel trellis frame, and has 24-degree rake and 4.4-inch trail. People will have chance to personalize their motorbikes with a wide range of accessories on offer. The Scrambler Icon is priced at Rs. 5.31 lakh, and is expected to hit the Indian shores in the mid-2015. The other three variants- Urban Enduro, Classic and Full Throttle are priced at Rs. 6.20 lakh.
