The new Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG T and T+ trims are priced at Rs 5.93 lakh – Rs 6.12 lakh (ex, Delhi) respectively.

The South Korean carmaker, Hyundai has introduced the Xcent Prime with factory-fitted CNG kit in the Indian market. Available in two trims – T and T+ – the Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG is priced at Rs 5.93 lakh and Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The new CNG variant comes with the ease of registration and financing procedure along with the tax benefits in certain areas.

The Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG features the factory-fitted SLF – Speed Limiting Function that comes at no additional cost. Hyundai is offering a warranty of 100,000kms/3 years with this new variant. Read – New Hyundai Xcent Vs Xcent Prime

Commenting on the launch of Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG, Rakesh Srivastava- Director- Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. The Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG features DEDST (Dual ECU Dynamic Sequential Technology) CNG kit with separate injectors. The Dual ECU technology system consists of separate injectors ensuring optimal gas flow to the powertrain to deliver lag free performance. In case, if you run out of the fuel, this system automatically switches to petrol from CNG after driving a few kilometres or vice versa.

Hyundai Xcent sub-compact sedan was first launched in India in 2015. The company has been selling an average of 4,000-5,000 units of the car on monthly basis. Aiming to boost its sales, the South Korean carmaker introduced the mid-life facelift of the car in April 2017. Though, the pre-facelift version of the car was shifted to the taxi segment called Xcent Prime.

Currently, Hyundai sells around 2,000 – 3,000 units of the Xcent Prime per month. The new Hyundai Xcent Prime CNG variant will be positioned against the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Tour. The company is already offering the Grand i10 with CNG kit.
