Hyundai India that launched the all-new Xcent compact sedan has received an overwhelming response from car buyers in the country. Around 11,000 units have already been booked across India within just 30 days of its launch in March 2014. According to the company, the Hyundai dealerships have experienced over 1 lakh enquiries for the Xcent.

Hyundai Xcent is offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version gets 1.2-litre engine that develops 83pS and 114Nm, the oil burner is packed with a 1.1-litre diesel engine producing 72PS and 180Nm of top torque. The diesel version is claimed to offer an excellent fuel economy of 24.4kmpl, while the petrol version returns an impressive mileage of 19.1kmpl.
The Xcent compact sedan is equipped with several segment first features such as rear AC vents, integrated 2-DIN MP3 audio with in-built 1GB memory, diamond cut alloy wheels- unique 2 tone design along with smart key with push button start and stop, Bluetooth connectivity, multi-function steering wheel with Bluetooth, audio and trip meter controls, auto folding outside mirrors with electric adjustment function, rear parking sensors, turn indicators on outside mirrors and cooled gloved box.
