Hyundai Venue variant-wise features revealed; Launch on May 21

The company has already revealed that the SUV will be available in 4 trim levels – E, S, SX and SX (O) – and in total of 13 variants.

The much-awaited Hyundai Venue compact SUV has been receiving overwhelming response from buyers. The SUV has received over 2000 bookings in just a day after orders books officially opened. The sub-4 meter SUV will finally go on sale in the country on May 21, 2019. The SUV will be available with 3 engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel.

The company has already revealed that the SUV will be available in 4 trim levels – E, S, SX and SX (O) – and in total of 13 variants. The SUV will be offered in 10 colour options – 7 single tone and 3 dual-tone units. Ahead of the official launch, the variant-wise feature list of the Hyundai Venue have been revealed online –

Hyundai Venue E – this entry level variant is available with 2 engine options – 1.2-litre Petrol manual and a 1.4-litre diesel manual. This model rides on 15-inch steel wheel. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, central locking, rear parking sensors, speed sensing door locks and seat belt reminder will come as standard. Other features include wheel covers, cloth upholstery, adjustable front seat headrests, manual AC, title steering, 12V power outlet, front power windows and tachometer.

Hyundai Venue S – This mid-spec variant is available in all 3 engine options including 1.2L petrol manual, 1.0L petrol in manual and 7DCT and a 1.4L diesel manual. Apart from the above mentioned features, this variant gets keyless entry, rear defogger, body-coloured wing mirrors, roof rails, chrome grille, new upholstery, front armrest with storage, luggage lamp, rear parcel tray, etc. This model also gets rear air-con vents, all 4 power windows, cooled glove box, 2-DIN music system with CD, FM/AM, USB and Bluetooth, steering mounted controls and four speakers with two tweeters.

Hyundai Venue SX – this top-end model is available with 2 engine options – 1.0L petrol with manual and 1.4L diesel with manual. It rides on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. This top-spec model gets several high-end features including front projector fog lamps, automatic headlamps, projector headlamps with cornering function, LED daytime running lamps, ORVMs with turn indicators, LED tail-lights, etc.

Other features include adjustable rear seat headrests, leather wrapped gear knob, leather wrapped gear knob and steering wheel, height adjustable driver’s seat, power folding wing mirrors, rear camera, cruise control, map lights, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Arkamys system, USB charging and voice recognition. Hyundai Venue SX+ – This variant is exclusive to the 1.0L petrol with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It gets additional features like electronic stability control, security alarm, chrome door handles, wireless charging, 8-inch audio-video navigation, OE telematics, day/night auto internal mirror, smart key with push button start and air purifier.

The Venue SX variant is also available in dual-tone paint scheme, which is available in two versions – 1.0L petrol with manual and 1.4L diesel with manual. This model rides on 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and leather seats.

Hyundai Venue SX (O) – The top-spec variant is available with 2 engine options – 1.0L petrol with manual and 1.4L diesel with manual. This variant is available with 6 airbags, ESC with VSM, brake assist system, chrome door handles, 60:40 split rear seats, smart key with push button start, wireless charging, air purifier, rear wiper and washer, rear seat armrest with cup holders, 8-inch audio-video navigation and OE Telematics with remote.
