The new Hyundai Venue was revealed via an advertisement being played at Times, Square, in New York, USA.

The official images of the upcoming Hyundai Venue compact SUV have been leaked online. The new Venue was revealed via an advertisement being played at Times, Square, in New York, USA. Hyundai has already revealed the official design sketches of sub-4 meter SUV, but the new images reveal more details of the production-ready model.

The Hyundai Venue compact SUV comes with chunky and squat stance. Unlike the oversized wheel in the sketch, the production-ready model gets the machined-cut small wheels. It features the Hyundai’s signature cascading grille with chrome embellishment. The vehicle gets the brand’s new two-tier headlamp unit with sleek lights on top and the main headlamp unit placed lower. The daytime running lights surround the headlight to form the square shape, while the bumper has dual-tone inserts with stylish fog lamp housing.

The model seems top-end variant, which comes with dual-tone paint scheme. It features a white roof, which comes with floating-type profile. Blacked-out pillars are also visible in the images. The SUV gets reflectors on the wheel arches and dual-tone diamond-cut alloys. The outside rear view mirrors are painted in dual-tone, which also has integrated turn indicators.

Hyundai Venue’s interior details have already been revealed. The cabin comes with clutter-free and clean dashboard, featuring BlueLink infotainment system with 8-inch touchscreen display. The BlueLink offers 33 connected car features out of which 10 are India-specific. The sub-4 meter SUV also comes with a sunroof. The touchscreen infotainment system will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV will also receive the segment-first ventilated front seats.

The Hyundai Venue compact SUV will be available with 3 engine options – a 100bhp, 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, a 99bhp, 1.4-litre petrol and a 89bhp, 1.4-litre diesel. A six-speed manual gearbox driving the power to the front wheels will come as standard, while a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission will be fitted to the new 1.0L turbo petrol engine. Scheduled to make global debut on April 17, 2019, the Hyundai Venue is reportedly to be launched on May 21, 2019. The SUV will be positioned as a premium model in its category and is likely to be priced around Rs 8 lakh – Rs 12 lakh. It will challenge the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and the Mahindra XUV300.
