The new Hyundai Venue compact SUV will make debut on April 17, 2019

The much-awaited Hyundai Venue compact SUV will officially make its global debut on April 17, 2019. To be positioned below 4 meter in length, the new Venue will rival the likes of Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Maruti Vitara Brezza. This is the brand’s smallest global SUV. If media report is to be believed, the new Hyundai Venue will be launched on May 21, 2019. However, Hyundai is yet to make an official announcement on the same.

The new Hyundai Venue sub-4 meter SUV is equipped with Hyundai’s Blue Link technology that offers 33 connected features out of which 10 will be India-specific. The company has broadly categorised the connected car features in 7 categories including safety, security, remote, vehicle relationship management, location based services, alert services and artificial intelligence. The Hyundai Venue compact SUV will be available with 3 engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol, a 99bhp, 1.4-litre petrol and a 89bhp, 1.4-litre CRDi diesel. The new turbocharged petrol engine is expected to produce close to 100bhp and 170Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the sub-4 meter SUV will have a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic unit (1.0L petrol only).
