The South Korean carmaker will soon bring in its all-new Hyundai Styx compact SUV in the Indian market. In the company’s product lineup, it will sit below the Creta. The SUV will have a different name in select markets, but globally known as the Hyundai Styx. Here’re 5 important things about Hyundai’s new compact SUV we know so far.

1. Platform Sharing

The Hyundai Styx compact SUV is based on the Carlino concept that broke cover at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. The production-ready model will share its underpinning with the Grand i10 hatchback and Xcent compact sedan. Hyundai might use the same architecture for its upcoming compact MPV that will be launched in European markets, Korea and India sometime in 2020. Read – New Generation Hyundai Creta Will Be A 7-Seater SUV

2. Different Styling

Hyundai’s signature hexagonal cascade grille will be slightly revised. The headlamps might feature a twin-vertical layout with integrated LED DRLs and turn indicators.
