The all-new Hyundai Saga SUV concept will preview the brand’s new design language

Korean automaker, Hyundai will showcase an all-new small SUV concept at the 2018 Sao Paulo Motor Show in November. The new SUV concept will preview the brand’s new design language. Hyundai has also released some of the design sketches of the SUV. It features a coupe-like roofline with muscular wheel arches and Hyundai’s wide cascade grille up front.

The teaser also reveals the rear profile that has wraparound tail-lamps with LED elements. The company hasn’t revealed about the interior and powertrain options for this small SUV. However, this SUV concept could be the brand’s next small electric SUV for emerging markets. Hyundai will launch a sub-4 meter SUV – codenamed QXi in India in the first half of 2019. The small SUV could also receive an electric powertrain in near future. Moreover, Hyundai is also working on a range of new cars for emerging markets like new Grand i10, HB20 hatchback and new-gen Elite i20. These new products could borrow styling cues from the Saga SUV concept.

Hyundai hasn’t revealed much about this new Saga concept, except more details to reveal closer to its unveil. In India, Hyundai has just launched the new-gen Santro and is planning to launch 7 new cars in the next 2-3 years.
