Hyundai Announces Price Hike: New Creta Will Be Unaffected

New Hyundai Creta 2018 Facelift

The price revision comes as a result of the increased input costs and shipping expenses.

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) has announced that the company will be increasing the prices across its product lineup by up to 2 per cent. However, the new Creta facelift will not be affected by this price hike. The price increase will be effective from June, 2018. The price revision comes as a result of the increased input costs and shipping expenses due to fuel price hike.

Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Director – Sales & Marketing, HMIL said, “We have been absorbing the increase in input costs with increase in commodity prices, freight increase with hike in fuel prices and also the increase in custom duties of certain components. We are now constrained to pass the same to customers in our products with increase up to 2% from June 2018.” Read: New Hyundai Creta Vs Old – Major Changes
