Exterior design and styling seems to be inspired by the HDC-2 Grandmaster concept. Though, the carmaker has toned it down and made some practical changes. Upfront, the Hyundai Palisade SUV features LED headlamps with two vertically stacked projector elements and extended hood.

Styling bits such as LED turn-signal mirrors, bold C-pillars, large 20inch alloy wheels with 245/50 tyres, panoramic rear glass and vertical LED rear taillamp design further add to its muscular appearance. The SUV has a low drag coefficient(0.33), thanks to its rear spoiler side garnish, a fast A-pillar angle, aero underside panels, rear wheel aero defectors and an optimized front cooling area with an extended internal air guide.
