Hyundai will unveil the production version of the ix25 compact SUV at the 2014 Chengudu Motor Show in September. Unveiled at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show as pre-production model, the Hyundai ix25 will go on sale in China on October 9. The vehicle has been spotted with production body in China. Clear pictures of the interior and exteriors of the compact SUV have been clicked. Going by the pictures, the vehicle looks quite identical to the concept show; however, there are few tweaks visible on closer look.
Inside the cabin, the Hyundai ix25 gets three-spoke steering wheel and silver trim is given to the control area to offer premium feel. The vehicle is equipped with automatic air conditioning and an LCD screen multimedia system. Its seats are painted in black paint which further accentuates the interiors of the car. The overall fit and finish looks good, while the material quality should be top-notch.
The production version of the Hyundai ix25 is equipped with a toned down version of the LED daytime running lamps, while the concept shown at the Beijing show had LEDs with larger DRLs strip. The front matte grille looks quite identical to the concept, while the bumper features new foglights. The skid guard in the vehicle is smaller is size compared to the one found in concept one.
The rear profile of the Hyundai ix25 gets the same LED combination rear taillights. Its flared wheel arches have been fitted to large diamond-cut alloy wheels and new wheel hub is complemented by black trim embellishment. The vehicle features black plastic cladding all around the car to offer more rugged road presence. The Hyundai ix25 compact SUV is likely to be offered in seven variants and two petrol engine options. The base unit will get the 1.6-litre 4-cylinder engine while the top-spec models would feature a 2.0-litre unit.
