Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has been honoured with the “Indian Manufacturer of the Year – 2016” award by Frost & Sullivan at the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2016. This is the highest recognition bestowed to any manufacturer in the Indian automobile industry.
A shortlist of 93 entries was whittled down out of 102 sites, which were derived from a larger base of contestants. Participants went through a rigorous assessment procedure across every functions including in core and support areas over 3-4 days by experts of Frost & Sullivan at the company sites.

The “Indian Manufacturer of the year award” was handed over by Mr. Aroop Zutshi, Global President & Managing Partner, Frost and Sullivan.
