Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo Variant At Auto Expo 2020
With a plan in place on opening day of the Auto Expo 2020, Hyundai Motors India showcased a range of new models including the updated Tucson, performance-oriented i30 N Fastback, Nexon FCEV and Le Fil Rouge concept. The carmaker also showcased the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo petrol variant, which is expected to go on sale by March, 2020.
Powering the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo petrol is a 1.0L engine that’s sourced from the Aura compact sedan. The gasoline motor, with a 5-speed manual gearbox, delivers a maximum power of 118bhp and a peak torque of 172Nm.
The compact hatchback also comes with a 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol and a 1.2L, 3-cylinder diesel engines pushing out power worth 83bhp with 114Nm and 75bhp with 190Nm respectively.
The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo petrol is based on the Sportz dual-tone trim that costs Rs 6.68 lakh (ex-showroom). The turbocharged model is likely to be priced around Rs 80,000 premium over the regular Sportz dual-tone variant.
In terms of features, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios turbo petrol model will come with all the comfort goodies and safety features offered on the Sportz dual-tone variant.
The list will include front grille in gloss black finish and chrome treatment, follow-me-home headlamps, LED DRLs, day/night IRVM, turn indicators on ORVMs (AMT only), 14-inch steel wheels with covers, 2-DIN audio system with AM/FM, USB and Bluetooth, tilt adjustable steering wheel with mounted audio controls, rear AC vents, keyless entry, iBlue (audio remote app), front and rear speakers, rear power windows and power outlet.
On the safety, it will offer central locking, speed sensing auto doo lock/unlock, airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and camera, speed alert system, engine immobilizer and more.
