Hyundai India has rolled out the CNG version of the Grand i10 Nios hatchback in the country. The CNG kit has been made available on the Magna and Sportz petrol variants priced at Rs 6.62 lakh and Rs 7.16 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG variants are packed with a 1.2L VVT petrol engine with a CNG kit that delivers a claimed power of 68bhp at 6,000rpm and 95Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The hatchback’s new bi-fuel variants have been offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Mileage figure hasn’t been revealed by the carmaker. The Grand i10 Nios petrol promises a fuel economy of 20.7kmpl.
No other changes have been made to the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios CNG. The Magna variants comes equipped with gloss black and chromed front grille, LED DRLs, 14-inch steel wheels, follow-me-home headlamps, day/night IRVM, steering mounted controls, 2-DIN audio system, iBlue, keyless entry, central locking, tilt adjustable steering wheel, rear power windows, rear AC vents, driver seat height adjust, front USB port and rear power outlet. The Sportz trim, on the other hand, offers front fog lamps, rear defogger, rear parking camera, 14-inch alloys with gun metal finish, roof rails, shark fin antenna, all back interior, chrome finished gear lever, gloss black dash inserts, an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Voice recognition, automatic climate control with eco coating, Arkamys premium sound system and cooled glove box.
