Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Bookings Cross 5,000 Units Mark
The all-new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios has garnered 5000 bookings ahead of its official launch in the country. Its pre-booking wsd commenced in the first week of August. The hatchback’s new model will also be showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show that’s scheduled to be held in September, 2019. Hyundai India’s Chennai based plant will serve as production hub for the new Grand i10 Nios.
The hatchback lineup comes in four trims – Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta, and 10 variants including 7 petrol and 4 diesel. Both petrol (Magna and Sportz) and diesel (Sportz) trims get AMT (automated manual transmission). Prices of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios petrol start from Rs 4.99 lakh and go up to Rs 7.13 lakh. Compared to its predecessor, the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios offers more cabin space. Besides this, it comes with a host of new features including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support and voice recognition, Arkamys audio system, wireless charging system, start/stop button, height adjustable driver seat and more. Design and styling of the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is sleeker and more evolved. The hatchback features a cascading grille, new headlamps, boomerang shaped DRLs and LED fog lamps (first-in-segment) at the front fascia. Other updates include new diamond cut alloys, new LED taillamps, integrated roof rails, blackened pillars, chrome door handles, auto folding ORVMs with turn indicators and ‘Nios’ badging at the boot.
