Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG Priced at Rs 8.45 Lakh – Details

The South Korean automaker has rolled out the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG variant at Rs 8.45 lakh. Compared to its petrol manual counterpart, the new Asta CNG costs around Rs 92,000 higher. Earlier, the hatchback model lineup had Magna and Sportz CNG variants priced at Rs 7.16 lakh and Rs 7.70 lakh respectively. Both models are nearly 1 lakh more expensive than their petrol versions. No changes have been made to the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Asta CNG model. Similar to the petrol-only variant, it’s exclusively available with adjustable rear headrests, push button start/stop system, rear wiper/washer, luggage lamp, rear chrome garnish, chrome outside door handles and chrome finish on parking lever tip. It also comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Voice recognition, a 5.3-inch semi-digital multi information display, leather wrapped steering wheel, Arkamys premium sound system, automatic climate control with eco coating, wireless charging and cooled glove box.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Variants

For power, the Hyundai Grand i10 Asta CNG uses a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The motor pushes out a peak power of 68bhp and 95.2Nm of torque. The power and torque figures of the CNG version is 14bhp and 19Nm lower than the regular petrol model respectively.

Its pre-bookings have been commenced across all Hyundai Signature dealerships at a token sum of Rs 50,000. With the generation change, the Tucson has received multiple segment-first features along with major cosmetic upgrades. The SUV has also grown up in size. The new model is longer (by 150mm), wider (by 15mm) and taller (by 5mm) than the previous model. The SUV model lineup will come with the 156PS, 2.0L petrol and 186PS, 2.0L diesel engine options.
