The CNG version of the Hyundai Grand i10 is Rs 63,000 expensive than the regular Magna petrol trim.

The Hyundai Grand i10 is one of the best-selling models for the Korean automaker in our market. Seeing the lowering demand for the diesel cars, Hyundai is now looking at other fuel options to compensate for the loss of diesel car sales. The company is planning to introduce CNG versions of the small cars in India. Adding to it, the company will introduce the electric and strong hybrid cars in the country. Hyundai has launched the factory fitted CNG variant of the Grand i10. The CNG kit is available only in the Magna trim and is priced at Rs 6.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

It is powered by the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine that powers the regular model. While powering the petrol only model, this engine produces 82bhp of power and 110Nm of torque. The CNG variant offers 66bhp of maximum power and 98Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Hyundai Grand i10 Magna CNG variant is equipped with Bluetooth compatible audio system, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, dual front airbags, seat-belt reminder, speed alert, etc.

Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited Venue sub-4 meter SUV on May 21, 2019. The company is also working on the next-generation Grand i10, which has been spotted testing multiple times. The new-gen Hyundai Grand i10 is expected to be launched in the second half of 2019. It will be available in petrol and CNG versions only.
