Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) added one more star to its profile by registering more than 1 lakh bookings for Hyundai CRETA in India. As per the Korean car maker, they received around 5 lakh enquiries and were successful in delivering around 56, 000 units of this stunning SUV. One of the most awarded SUVs of India, Hyundai CRETA debuted in Indian market around 8 months back and has been achieving new milestones with every passing day. It won in total 26 awards in this duration along with the Indian Car of the Year award for 2016.

As per HMIL’s CEO and Managing Director, Mr. YK Koo, “We thank our customers for the tremendous response with the record fastest 1 lakh bookings in last 8 months. Like in the domestic market, CRETA has generated great response in Global markets with more than 28, 000 orders. To reduce the waiting period, we are increasing CRETA production by 30 per cent to total production of 13, 000 units of which 10, 000 units will be allocated for the domestic market.”
