SRK Designs has created speculative rendering of the Hyundai Creta Convertible.

Hyundai Creta is the top selling premium compact SUV in the country. In May 2018, the vehicle received its first comprehensive upgrade along with a new Orange paint scheme. The Creta, which has always been favoured for its sporty design, feature-laden interior and efficient engines, crossed 3 lakh sales mark in August, 2018.

Since its launch, we have seen numerous modifications and renderings of the Hyundai Creta. Though, the latest Hyundai Creta Convertible Concept has caught our attention. SRK Designs, a virtual design studio, has created speculative rendering of the Creta Convertible giving us a hint on how the car will look-like. Hyundai Creta Convertible Concept Rendering

Upfront, the Hyundai Creta Convertible features new headlamps sitting below in the bumper along with sleeker LED daytime running lights (DRLs). This new setup resembles to the Tata Harrier that’s scheduled to launch in January 2019.

Instead of the regular setup, the Hyundai Creta Convertible gets new diamond-cut alloy wheels. The absence of roof is surely one of the biggest changes made to the car. Currently, the Hyundai Creta comes with three engine options – a 1.6L petrol dual VTVT, 1.4L CRDi diesel and 1.6L CRDi VGT diesel. While the gasoline motor produces a maximum power of 122bhp power and 154Nm torque, the 1.4L oil burner delivers 89bhp with 224Nm torque and 1.6L makes 121bhp with 265Nm. The SUV carline is available with two gearbox options – a 6 speed manual and a 6 speed automatic unit.
