Hyundai Grand and Xcent Special Editions to Launch This Year

Hyundai Grand i10 Special Edition

Hyundai Grand i10 & Xcent Special Editions will be offered with 30-40 per cent additional features than the regular models.

Speaking to ET, Hyundai India’s CEO, Young Key Koo, said that the company is planning to launch the special editions of the Grand i10 and Xcent. These special editions will be launched to celebrate Hyundai’s 20 years in India.

The official also confirmed that the production of these special editions have already begun, and they will be offered with 30-40 per cent additional features than the regular models. Interestingly, these editions will be sold at no extra cost. Since the production has already begun, we expect Hyundai Grand i10 & Xcent special editions to launch in the next 1-2 months.

Save for new graphics and a few other changes, we don’t think the special editions will receive any design updates. Also, both the products will continue to feature the same 1.2-litre Kappa petrol and a 1.1-litre U2 CRDi diesel engines. While the diesel engine is good for 70bhp and 160Nm, the gasoline powertrain produces 82bhp and 114Nm.
