new Sonata among upcoming hyundai cars at auto expo 2018

Seeing the growing demand for premium sedan cars like Honda Accord & Toyota Camry, Hyundai is now planning to re-introduce its once popular Sonata brand in the country. Though it was put on display at the last edition of the Indian automobile show, the final product is one of the shortlisted ones for Hyundai at Auto Expo 2018. It was speculated that Hyundai will launch the hybrid version of the Sonata in India, but recent hike in taxation post GST might force the company to drop hybrid plan. Similar to the global-spec model, the India-spec version might feature HID Xenon headlamps with LED DRLs. Features such as an 8.0-inch navigation system, infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Infinity premium sound system and power operated driver’s seat with memory function and lumbar support could also be on offer.
