Hyundai Aura, the all-new subcompact sedan from the South Korean carmaker, will see a release on 21st January, 2020. However, the official launch date is yet to be confirmed by the carmaker.
Sharing its platform with the new Grand i10 Nios, the Hyundai Aura will lock horns against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze and Ford Aspire.

The coupe like side profile with pronounced wheel arches gives it a sporty looks. At the rear, it gets LED taillamps with 3D outer lens.
The new Hyundai Aura will be offered with two BS6-compliant petrol and a diesel engine. There will be a 1.2L petrol motor pushing out 82bhp with 114Nm and a 1.0L turbo petrol making 99bhp with 172Nm. Read – BS6 Hyundai Santro Coming Soon
The turbo petrol engine will make the Aura the most powerful car in its segment. The diesel model will use a 1.2L unit delivering 74bhp with 190Nm. The compact sedan will come with a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
The carmaker says that the Hyundai Aura offers several first-in-segment features including air curtain, emergency stop signal, eco coating, leather wrapped gear knob, outside door handles chrome, driver rear view monitor and wireless charger. It also gets an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity.
