Hyundai Aura will be the official name of the company’s upcoming all-new compact sedan. The carmaker says that ‘AURA’ is a blend of modernism with comfort, safety, style and technology with convenience”. The all-new Hyundai Aura will be the successor to the Xcent and take on the cars like Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze.
Most of the body panels of the Hyundai Aura will be similar to the new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios hatchback. It will have a more curvy and harmonious silhouette than its predecessor. Design and styling of the new Hyundai compact sedan could be inspired by the newly-launched Hyundai Elantra facelift.

Upfront, the Hyundai Aura will feature the brand’s signature cascading grille with a honeycomb mesh finish and boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. Similar to the new Grand i10 Nios, the Hyundai Aura will get the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. The higher trims could be offered with BlueLink connected car technology and wireless smartphone charging system.
The new Hyundai compact sedan could be offered with different colored upholstery. The adjustable headrests and a rear seat armrest will take care of the comfort of the rear seat passengers. Engine setup of the new Hyundai Aura will include a BS6-compliant 1.2L Kappa petrol and a 1.2L U2 diesel motor. Both manual and AMT gearbox will be on offer.
