Hyundai Motor India has introduced a new mid-spec Alcazar Platinum (O) 7-seater variant to the SUV model lineup. Priced at Rs 19.64 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant sits below the Platinum (O) 6-seater model. The new Hyundai Alcazar Platinum (O) 7-seater offers a bench seat for the middle row occupants. One must note that the new mid-level variant is available with 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine only. It makes a top power of 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. The diesel motor with automatic gearbox is claimed to deliver fuel efficiency of 18.1kmpl. The Alcazar SUV model lineup is also available with the 2.0L, 4-cylinder petrol engine pushing out power worth 159bhp and 192Nm of torque. It can do 0 to 100kmph in 9.5 seconds. Mileage figures of the gasoline unit stand at 14.5kmpl (MT) and 14.2kmpl (AT). The three-row SUV comes with multiple drive modes – Eco, Comfort and Sport and three traction modes – Sand, Mud and Snow.
The new Hyundai Alcazar Platinum (O) 7-seater variant’s features are exactly similar to its 6-seater version. That means, it comes with electric parking brake, air purifier, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless smartphone charger, height adjustable driver seat, Hyundai BlueLink connected car tech, auto climate control, voice controlled, panoramic sunroof, leather-wrapped, flat-bottom steering wheel and gear knob and more. The Alcazar SUV comes in three trim levels – Prestige, Platinum and Signature. There are 6 colour options to choose from, namely, Typhoon Silver, Starry Night, Taiga Brown, Titan Grey, Polar White and Phantom Black. White and Grey shades are also available in dual-tone scheme. Prices of Hyundai’s new three-row SUV start from Rs 16.30 lakh and go up to Rs 19.99 lakh. The model lineup includes six 6-seater and five 7-seater variants priced between Rs 16.45 lakh – Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 16.30 lakh – Rs 18.45 lakh respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
