Renault, the French automaker had released the first studio shots of the upcoming Lodgy MPV last month. Now, the company has showcased the vehicle at the Star Guild Awards. The vehicle was officially presented by Anil Kapoor and Sumit Sawhney at the Awards. Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan is the first buyer of this MPV. Keys were handover to Hrithik by Sumit Sawhney, which we believe is a smart move. Alongside the Lodgy, the French automaker has also showcased the Duster AWD.
Scheduled to go on sale by March, 2015, the Lodgy will be powered by the same 1.5-litre K9K diesel engine that is good for 85PS of power. The company might also introduce the 1.6-litre petrol motor that produces 103bhp of power. It will rival against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Honda Mobilio, Chevrolet Enjoy and Nissan Evalia.
