We and our Government are doing more to reduce the spread of the deadly coronavirus. From washing hands on a regular basis to keeping social distances, we are doing our best to stop this virus. This virus is dangerous for seniors as well as children.
There is no currently a vaccine available for the deadly Coronavirus. So we need to keep our self and surroundings including home and our car clean to avoid this virus. Here are some measures you need to take to avoid this virus –
Clean/ Disinfect
Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily are must to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. We normally clean frequently-touched surfaces in our homes. This practice should carry over to our family car as well.
– For people not in the know, the steering wheel of the car that is constantly touched is the home for different types of viruses. These viruses should be wiped down using a disinfectant.
– Places like door handles, gear shifter, air-conditioning buttons and radio knobs, ORVMs and center console including the cupholders should be regularly clean using disinfectant.
– Use microfiber cloths to clean touchscreen and specific wipes to clean leather surfaces. Regular cleaning of key fob and dashboard is also important.
– It is very important to clean the air-con vents and floor mats. We advise you to have a quick service or cleaning of AC units of the car.

Car seats – one place germs can stay longer and is in constant touch with driver and co-passengers. It is mandatory to sanitize them.
