The new Honda BS6-ready two-wheeler will be boosted with fuel injection technology. It will also feature an O2 sensor, ECU (electronic control unit), an onboard diagnostic module and three-way catalytic converter. The two-wheeler maker might also offer instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.

Recently, the new-generation Honda Activa scooter was caught testing at ARAI facility. The vehicle features a newly designed headlamp that might get the LED DRLs (daytime running lights). While the tail section and grab rails are carried over from the current model, the instrument console is a new unit. The updated model might also get 10-inch alloy wheels.

The Honda Activa 6G continues to feature the telescopic front forks suspension. Braking power comes from the front disc and rear drum brakes along with the standard CBS (Combi Braking System). Currently, the scooter comes with a 109.9cc, air-cooled engine that’s good for 7.96PS and 9Nm. The new model will use the same powertrain that will be upgraded to meet the BS6 emission norms.
