Honda Prologue Electric SUV Revealed – Bigger Than CR-V

Japanese automaker, Honda has finally revealed the new Prologue electric SUV. The new Honda Prologue EV is developed on a General Motors’ Ultium platform that underpins the Chevrolet Blazer EV and Cadillac Lyriq. The new model will go on sale in select international markets within 2 years.

The new Prologue electric SUV is designed by Honda Design Studio in Los Angeles. It will be positioned above the CR-V and alongside the Passport SUV. Honda claims that the new EV design is based on “neo-robust” design philosophy. While it shared platform with the Blazer EV, the new Prologue EV will have its own identity.

The new Honda Prologue electric SUV comes with the signature front grille and horizontally placed LED headlamps. The electric SUV rides on newly designed 21-inch wheels. At the back, the EV gets “Honda” lettering instead of the traditional brand logo. It also gets AWD badging at the rear.

Inside the cabin, the new Honda Prologue electric SUV gets digital screens on the dashboard. The vehicle gets 11-inch instrument panel, and a larger 11.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The company has opted for physical buttons instead of the touch unit for the air conditioning commands.

The new Honda Prologue 2024 comes with a huge wheelbase of 3,094 millimetres, which is similar to the one offered on the Blazer EV. In fact, the wheelbase of new Prologue is significantly larger than the CR-V and the Passport. While the CR-V has a wheelbase of 2,701mm, the Passport rides on 2,820mm long wheelbase. In terms of proportions, the new Prologue EV is 4,877mm in length, 1,989mm in width and 1,643mm in height.
