Honda has finally launched the much-anticipated Mobilio MPV in the Indian car market. Interestingly, the company has also revealed the pricing of the Mobilio RS variant; however, the deliveries of the MPV are slated to commence from September, 2014. The Mobilio RS is basically the sportier version of this multi purpose vehicle and is priced at Rs. 10.86 lakh.

The exterior design concept of the Mobilio is “Dual-Solid Motion” which incorporates a sporty stance expressed by the front grille, sharp spoiler and aggressive creases on the sides. The Mobilio RS comes with a bolder and sportier exterior design. It is equipped with stylish front bumper, rear bumper with chrome strip, projector headlamps with LED position lamps, sporty chrome grille, retractable outside rear view mirrors with integrated turn indicators, chrome door handle, tailgate spoiler, fog lamp with chrome garnish, sporty and exclusive alloy wheels, side sill garnish and others.

The Honda Mobilio will be available in seven exciting exterior colors- Brilliant Gold Metallic (New and exclusive), Carnelian Red Pearl, Majestic Blue Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl (exclusive to RS). It comes with a 2 years or 40,000 kms warranty as standard value for all customers. The Cost of Maintenance for the Honda Mobilio has been kept as lowest in its segment.

Honda Mobilio RS is only offered with the diesel powertrain. It gets the same 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that is capable of developing a top-power output of 98.6bhp and a peak torque of 200Nm. Power is transmitted to front wheels via a five-speed manual transmission gearbox. It is claimed to be the country’s most fuel efficient MPV with an ARAI certified mileage of 24.2kmpl.
