Honda Forza 300 Scooter Might Come To India – Report

Honda Forza 300, the maxi scooter from the Japanese carmaker, is reported to launch in India in December, 2019. The scooter is currently on sale in Japan and ASEAN countries. The Forza 300 could be brought as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), and is expected to priced around Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). Read: Honda Activa 6G – Top 4 Expected Changes

Power is derived from a 279cc, liquid-cooled engine with fuel injection and VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology. The latter one is claimed to deliver better low, mid and top-end performance. It also gets Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system that monitors the wheel speed and slip ratio and senses loss of rear wheel traction to control engine torque. It allows the tyre to grip for better traction control.

For damping duties, the Honda Forza 300 uses a 33mm telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers with 7-stage spring perload adjsutablitity. The scooter sources its braking power from a single 256mm disc up front and 240mm rear disc brakes along with dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). In terms of features, the Honda Forza 300 offers an analogue digital instrument console, an electrically adjustable windscreen and full LED lighting. The scooter gets a 12V charging socket as standard feature. The underseat space is good enough to accommodate two helmets. It also gets a lockable storage bins in the front apron.
