The Honda CB Shine becomes the first 125cc motorcycle to achieve 50 lakh sales milestone in India.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India’s CB Shine has set a new milestone by achieving 50 lakh sales milestone in the country. The two-wheeler maker has rolled out the 50th lakh unit of the commuter from its Tapukara plant in Rajasthan. With this achievement, the Honda CB Shine becomes the first 125cc motorcycle to reach 50 lakh sales milestone.

To commemorate the achievement, Honda has also launched the new 2017 CB Shine with a BSIV engine and AHO (Automatic Headlight On). This makes the CB Shine third Honda product that caters BS-IV emission standards. Read – Honda CB Shine SP’s Sales Reach 1 Lakh Mark

First launch in April 2006, the Honda CB Shine became India’s single largest selling 125cc motorcycle by financial year 2008-09. The commuter comes with the unique Optimax technology and the brand’s HTE (Honda Eco technology). As a reminder, Honda Two-wheelers introduced the 2017 CB Unicorn 160 with a BSIV engine and subtle design changes. The 2017 model also receives AHO unit and a new Matte Marvel Blue colour. This updated model has been priced at Rs 73,552 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
