Honda’s top-selling model, City is now affordable by up to Rs 28,005. The reduction in prices of City range between Rs 16,510 to Rs 28,005. Currently in its fourth generation, the mid-size sedan recently achieved the milestone of 2.5 lakh unit sales (cumulative). The number itself speaks volumes about the popularity of the sedan in India. While prices of the Jazz based crossover, WR-V have been slashed by up to Rs 10,064. Launched recently in India, the crossover is slowly gaining traction in the crossover segment.
Honda has reduced prices of all its models, save for Honda Accord hybrid, which are yet to be revealed. One must note that price cut for Honda range goes up to Rs 1.31 lakh.
The two hatchbacks in Honda’s line-up, Brio and Jazz have also witnessed decline in price. While Brio gets cheaper by up to Rs 12,279, its larger sibling Jazz gets a cut of up to Rs 10,031. Honda’s compact sedan, Amaze that is set for a generation change in 2018 has also been benefitted under the new GST regime with prices coming down by up to Rs 14,825.
As for the SUVs, price of the seven-seat BR-V has been dropped by up to Rs 30,387 opposed to the premium CR-V that gets maximum price reduction of up to Rs 1,31,663 (please note all prices mentioned above are for ex-showroom, Delhi).
