Honda Cars India (HCI) has started accepting bookings for the new 2021 Honda Amaze facelift at a token sum of Rs 21,000. Interested customers can pre-book the vehicle online or near any authorized Honda dealership across the nation. The booking amount for the online orders is set at Rs 5,000. Mr Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said that the new Amaze is “more premium, stylish and sophisticated. We are approaching the upcoming festive season with a fully refreshed line-up and hope to create fresh excitement in the market”.
Official details of the new Honda Amaze 2021 will be released in a couple of weeks. The model is likely to witness significant changes on exterior and feature upgrades inside the cabin. The compact sedan might also receive new colour schemes. The existing model comes in five colour options, namely, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic. Interior of the new 2021 Honda Amaze facelift is likely to be revised with a new touchscreen infotainment system along with the new upholstery and updated dashboard. Most of the features will be carried forward from the current model including a 7-inch multi info display, steering mounted voice controls, height adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, reverse camera, keyless go with push button start, cruise control and more.
Under the hood, the 2021 Honda Amaze facelift will continue to house the 1.2L i-VTEC petrol and 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engines. While the gasoline unit makes a peak power of 89bhp with 110Nm, the oil burner pushes out a maximum power of 99bhp and 200Nm of torque. Similar to the pre-facelift version, the updated one will be available with the 5-speed manual and CVT automatic gearbox options.
