Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently announced its plan for 2018-19 financial year. The roadmap includes a total of 19 new launches including upgraded models of the existing products (18) and an all-new product. The company will also focus to improve its domestic sales and production capacity. With an investment of Rs 800 crore, the Japanese two-wheeler carmaker will prepare for new BSVI emission norms before deadline by 2020. HMSI also aims to expand its network in the current fiscal year. While the company hasn’t revealed the name and details of the new products, it is reported that the new Honda CB 125F will be one of them. Honda has confirmed 19 new launches for this fiscal year. However, the product details are still under the wraps. Rumor has it that the new CB 125F will be among the new Honda products that are scheduled to hit showrooms this financial year. Honda CB 125F Price In India
In India, the Honda CB 125F will come as a replacement to the CB Stunner. It will be the company’s flagship product in the 125cc segment. The new CB 125F is estimated to be priced between Rs 65,000 – Rs 70,000. At this price point, it will lock horns against the Hero Glamour and the Bajaj Discover 125. In the company’s product lineup, this new motorcycle will sit above the Honda CB Shine SP.
Honda CB 125F Design
Design and styling of the new CB 125 F is entirely different from the previous model. The bike gets newly-designed headlamp, revised visor and mud guard, new fuel tank, split grab rails and re-designed exhaust. Compared to the old version, the seat of the 2018 model year is wider and sits slightly lower. The commuter might also get LED headlamp. Most of the features will be carried over from the old model including multi-spoke alloy wheels, a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster with a tachometer, 3D-effect side shrouds and compact nose cowl along with contoured side cowls. Honda CB 125F Specifications
Powering the new CB 125F is the same a 124.7cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve OHC single cylinder engine with balancer shaft. This BS4 engine is capable of producing 10bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 11Nm of torque at 5,5000rpm. Transmission option on offer will be a 5-speed gearbox. In terms of performance, the new Honda CB 125F will be equivalent to the CB Shine SP. Based on steel frame, the bike comes equipped with telescopic forks up front and twin rear shock absorbers.
