First launched in 2013, the Amaze sub-4 meter sedan is one of the best-selling Honda cars in India. The company had introduced the second generation Amaze in May 2018, which is currently the second best-selling sedan of India. The company is maintaining average sales of over 4,000 units. Here is a long term video review of the second generation Honda Amaze, which answers to all your questions.

Over the period of 3 months, we drove the new Amaze diesel close to 11,000 kms. The review covers all the important aspects including fuel efficiency, drivability, ride and handling, reliability and comfort and convenience.

The new Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine that also powers the City sedan. This engine is capable of producing 99bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The diesel engine is also available with a CVT automatic gearbox. While paired to a CVT unit, this engine produces 78.9bhp of power and 190Nm of torque. The diesel CVT option is claimed to return 23.8kmpl of mileage. Powering the petrol version of the sedan is a 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine that 89bhp of power and 110Nm of torque. The sedan returns an ARAI certified fuel economy of 19.5kmpl.
