Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has introduced the third generation 2015 Activa in the Indian market. Christened as the Honda Activa 3G, the updated model is equipped with minor exterior upgrades and next paint scheme.
It is powered by the same 110cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out a maximum power output of 8PS and a peak torque of 8.74Nm. Power is transmitted to the road via a CVT transmission. The engine features the popular Honda Eco Technology (HET), which makes it fuel efficient. The scooter is claimed to return an impressive fuel economy of 60kmpl.
The Honda Actva 3G is equipped with new side panels, indicators and tail lamps. Other noticeable change is the new 3D logo on either side. Other features include the full metal body, keylock shutter, Honda’s combined braking system and tubeless tyres. The Activa 3G is priced at Rs. 48,852 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be made available in two exterior shades including Trance Blue metallic and Lusty Red metallic. The other color options are Black, White and Geny Grey metallic options. Bookings for the scooter have already commenced, while delivers will be commenced soon.
